Hp T790 designjet eprinter paper path error

I have a HP T790 designjet eprinter but it has developed a technicality i would like anyone to assist me resolve.

 

When I load a roll into the roll path, it gives me the message ...."please remove roll from sheet path". This is the same roll path that I have always used.

 

Can somebody help with what to do

Is there any way to lock down the control panel on the DesignJet Z3200? I work at a college and am finding students changing the IP address to enable free printing.

HP Designjet T790 stuck at 94% initializing

Hi have a HP Designjet T790 which is stuck on 94% initializing and making a clicking noise. Before this happened the printer had an issue with wonky lines and colours incorrect. I've seen it may be a printhead isue. Is there anything ele that could cause this issue?

Printhead Alignment Error

1055CM Plus 

 

Received Printead Alignment error.  

 

Installed a new black printhead and quickly received the same:  Printead Alignment error and "Failed 16" notification for the black printhead on the printer screen.  Screen  also says Check Printheads.

 

Pulled printhead, cleaned connections, reinstalled, same error.

 

Any suggestions?

Just got a designjet 610

Did a colour check and the Photo black is printing Cyan

 

I just want to use the Photo black cartridge to print out the cyan colour

How can i use the one colour and not use the other cartridges

Help needed.

 

My printer displays during the start up the error 79:04 and does not continue the start up procedure.

does someone know what this error code stands for and how i can solve this problem?

 

I know that the used printheads are out of warranty and i have already new ones but i can not change them because the printer does not show the main menu. is there a way to replace the printheads?

 

it would be great if someone could give me advice how i can solve this problem that i can use the printer again.

hiya can anyone help, i have brought a hp designjet 5000 printer to do canvas prints, i brought it without any cd or drivers i have searched for weeks for the right drivers can anyone help as to where i get them from am working on a laptop which has windows vista or a computer that has windows 7

Striping

I am getting a lot of banding/striping in my image. It is not overly noticeable in 11 x 17 or smaller but when I print larger images, it bands. Is this a calibration issue. I am using a DesignJet 1055C . Also I printed the image using "printer controls color" match screen".  The plotter is set to draft mode. The image is grey in on the screen and is printing from Photoshop.  It appears as beige wth a red undertone on the actual print. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I have a System Error that reads:  Severe error: 0X8010003

Machine is hung up, will not do anything, can not re-boot.  Have tried turning off power.  Nothing on the screen will work.  It just comes up with error message.  Please help!

Can someone please help me find drivers for this printer? Every link i find on Google that points to the HP website comes back that the page doesn't exist. The HP website has got to be the worst site i've ever had the misfortune of having to use.

Hello everyone.  there are several contributors who have given me some really excellent input for my "new DJ 5500ps. I wish to announce that I have this printer is up and running.  My wife was given a left over roll of paper and I did some test prints.  The color is off, so I need now how to rectify this.  I suspect it is media and  or icc profile.  for those of you who are very knowledgeable, are there any settings or calibrations to perform (on the printer) that should be performed or perhaps some input about the software settings?  I use Adobe Photoshop CC 2014

designjet 5500ps printhead path 1 error

I recieved the check printhead path error after power was lost. It had been in standby mode. At 50% startup initialization, error occurs.  Cleaned and lubed rails, wiped off encoder strip, checked motion of carriage assembly, same issue. Removed printhead cleaners and it initializes 100% . When I insert cleaners, same issue(carriage stopshalf way outside of cleaner area). Tried inserting one cleaner at a time, same result.  The cleaner tray seems to be moving fine and the carriage moves freely  as if there is no obstuction. The cleaners all look fine. Any single cleaner installed result in same error.  I can't imagine that every cleaner has failed at once.  Belt was replaced a few ink cartridges ago, very minimal amount of dust or belt debris so I do not suspect belt or tensionor is the issue. Short of replacing all printhead cleaners I am out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to align the printheads on my new z6800.  It stops the scanning process with this front panel message: Calibration cancelled due to scanning problems".  The manual says "The problem may be due to:
● The paper used was not valid, repeat the alignment with valid paper"

 

What is a valid paper?

Mac drivers for designjet 5500ps 60 inch?

Does anyone have any ideas how I can obtain drivers for mac os x for tis printer?  All HP says is that they are part of the mac os x.  they CANNOT be had from hp at all. I have a macbook pro running 10.9 but it was suggested that I try an older driver (10.7) but I can't seem to be able to find this anywhere

Designjet 111 Empty Ink Cartridges

I have read most of the forums. We have a small design firm. Recently to save on cost we began using refills on our color cartridges. Now the black and magenta cartridges show empty when they are full. After reading the forum, I have bought all HP cartridges. It is still showing the black and magenta cartridges as empty. I have tried the reset (push button 3 times, push other buttton 2 times while holding power) no change. I am now into this for all new cartridges. Do not tell me the carriage is bad, or the printhead...... I have two of these plotters, 1 that has been in use in the office for three years, and my persoanl one which probably only has 4 or 5 hours on it. They are both showing the same. I have been a loyal customer for the last twenty years. All of our printers and computers are HP product. It is pathetic that as a customer i do not have access to diagnostic codes and passwords. The changes HP has made in the last couple of years have screwed your loyal customers. It is easy to see why you are losing your loyal base. As it stands right now, this will be the last piece odf HP product we will buy. I want real help for this problem, not call a service tech, or replace carriage. This is an issue with what you have done with the ink cartridges plaain and simple. I want access to the service manual. I have been working on equiptment and building computers since the eighties, do not tell me this is a hardware problem other than the cartridges themselves.

Designjet 70 problem; Printer Status: error 01; Printhead Control

Hello,

 

i am trying to track a problem with the Designjet 70 (Q6655A),

 

upon startup the printer shows all catridges empty execpt the black one (leftmost which shows 3 bars), after a while it beeps and shows also the black one as empty all the while the yellow light next to the warning icon ! keeps blinking.

 

During startup track mode the printer halts at 167 Printhead control.

 

 

I would appreaciate it greatly if someone could help me shed some light onto this problem.

HP Designjet 500 - printhead issue

Hi,

 

We recently purchased a HP Designjet 500 Plus which is now out of warranty and did a test print immediately once it was home and it worked fine.

We have then waited a few weeks to use it again and on the next print an error message came up telling us to replace the printheads. We have bought a full set of 4 brand new printheads which are all within expiry date.

 

We have installed the new printheads and it still says to replace various printheads ranging from just one through to all of them after every attempt to install them.

 

We have removed them and cleaned the electrical contacts on the printhead and the carriage with no success.

 

For each printhead it says 'FAULTY, REPLACE PRINTHEAD'.

Each printhead has a different error code:

Cyan - 0234

Magenta - 0134

Yellow - 0334

Black - 0030

 

Please can someone please give some advice on how to fix this?
